Electrochemical reduction of allenic carboxylates 1 and 3 containing enoate and oxo groups gave cyclopentene derivatives 2 and 3-butyl-6a-methyl-4,5,6,6a-tetrahydro-2H-cyclopenta[b]furan-2-one (4) under mild conditions.
